Setup guides
These tools need nothing to install or turn on. Their tiles in Settings, Integrations say "Via Lead URL" and link to the guides below, and each guide says whether it is available yet. Most send leads to a bubbl3 lead source, through the form snippet, a ready-made Make or n8n template or a Zap; a few call the bubbl3 API with your key.
Whichever way a tool comes in, bubbl3's sending rules apply to every text, as to any other: consent, opt-out, quiet hours in the contact's own time zone, pacing and the first-message rules. No template or setting turns them off.
Cold outreach
Contacts that arrive from outbound tools (Clay, Apollo, Instantly and Smartlead) are cold contacts: they haven't asked to hear from you, which makes them the riskiest texts for a line's health. They share each line's normal limit for new contacts (50 a day on an active line, fewer while a new line warms up), with no extra cap, and the rest wait for a later day. Every other sending rule applies to them too. Your workspace can set a lower daily limit just for cold contacts in compliance settings; it's off unless you set one.
A contact is marked cold when a tool adds or updates it through the bubbl3 API with "outreach_class": "cold", or when it arrives at a lead source with "Leads come from an outbound tool" ticked. Once cold, it stays cold: a later import, CRM sync or API call never makes it standard again. Only someone signed in to bubbl3 can, and the change is kept in the audit log.
Consent: when you create a lead source, you confirm that everyone you send to bubbl3 has agreed to receive texts from you, so its leads can be texted straight away, cold ones included; a contact bubbl3 already has keeps its consent. A contact a tool adds through the bubbl3 API keeps the consent you give it, so one whose consent is unknown can be texted unless the workspace is set to text only opted-in contacts. Anyone who opts out is never texted.
